First of all the opinion of Arianna and Sabrina on the quality of Poggio Antico's wines.

Arianna is Paola and Alberto's eldest daughter. Sabrina is her cousin; since they were little girls, they usually fiercely argue, but never over Poggio Antico's wines!

Poggio Antico enjoys a very good reputation in the marketplace.

Ratings and awards are always quite significant, as they provide regular feedback about the quality of our work. Because it is very important that this feedback be independent, we at Poggio Antico have never advertised nor sponsored any magazine or wine guide. Therefore you can be confident that all ratings, awards or comments given to our wines come from totally independent sources.

Our wines have been highly rated for many years by the most important international wine magazines, such as "Wine Spectator", "Wine Advocate/Robert Parker", "Wine Enthusiast", "Wine & Spirits" and "International Wine Cellar" (USA), "Wine" and "Decanter" (Great Britain), "Falstaff", "Wein.pur" and "Vinaria" (Austria), "Vinothèque" and "Figaro Japon" (Japan), "Vinum" (Switzerland/Germany), "Mondo/Gerhard Heichelmann", "Der Feinschmecker" and "Alles Über Wein" (Germany), "Proefschrift" (The Netherlands), "Dina Viner" (Sweden), "Vinforum" (Norway), "Veronelli", "Gambero Rosso", "Duemilavini A.I.S." and "GoWine", (Italy).

Since 1990 our wines have been rated by Wine Spectator 5 times within the "Top 100 Wines of the Year". Our Brunello 1985 achieved the 4th place on the list, making it the first Italian wine to reach such a prestigious ranking.
